Job Description:
A company is looking for a Record Retrieval Support
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Manage outgoing medical records requests and communicate with
facilities and doctors' offices
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and report any customer
service concerns or violations
Maintain knowledge of state laws and facility policies regarding
the release of information
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required
Administrative experience in a healthcare environment is
preferred
Proven customer service experience and/or training
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word and Excel
Understanding of the record retrieval process and HIPAA
regulations
